Babe Ruth

Ages: 13-16, co-ed

Fee: $150

Babe Ruth will practice 2-3 times per week (dates TBD) starting late May based on field availability (after the high school season ends).

Babe Ruth will play Wednesday nights and Saturdays.

Games start late May and end late June/early July (tournament). 

Babe Ruth competes in both the Pioneer League and the Centennial League. We will travel to Centennial two to three times for inter-league games.

Athletes also have the opportunity to play for the All-Star team, which will travel to play one tournament against other All-Star teams from different cities in Colorado!

Registration Deadline: 

T-ball through Majors deadline: March 18

Babe Ruth deadline: April 10

Program Details:

Our baseball teams compete in the Pioneer League, which includes teams from Calhan, Elbert, Elizabeth, Ellicott, Kiowa, Peyton, and Rush (Miami-Yoder). Throughout the season, we will either host or travel to these locations for games.  

Practice schedules will be determined by coaches once teams are finalized. Practices take place in Elbert—either on the fields or indoors— 1-2 days per week. Most weeks, teams will have one weekday game and one weekend game.  

The season begins in late April or early May and runs through mid to late June. Exact dates vary based on age group and tournament schedules.

Once registration closes, Parents/Guardians and Athletes will be contacted with the sports schedule for practice and games.

The registration fee covers jersey and hat, league fees, umpire fees, game balls, team equipment, and field maintenance. Elbert Parks and Rec provides batting helmets, baseballs and catchers gear for all age levels.

Weather Cancellations:

If practices or games are canceled due to weather, league directors will make every effort to reschedule, but rescheduling all games cannot be guaranteed.

T-Ball (registration CLOSED)

Ages: 4-6

Fee: $65

T-ball will practice 1-2 times per week (dates TBD) starting late-April based on weather and field availability.

Games are on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings starting May 3rd.

Rookies (registration CLOSED)

Ages: 7-8

Fee: $75

Rookies will practice 1-2 times per week (dates TBD) starting mid-April based on weather and field availability.

Games are on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings starting May 3rd.

Minors/Majors (registration CLOSED)

Ages: 9-12

Fee: $125

Minors and Majors will begin the season practicing together. They will be split by age and skill level. 

They will practice 1-2 times per week (dates TBD) starting late March based on weather and field availability.

Minors play on Wednesday nights and Saturday mid-day. 

Majors play Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoon.

Pre-season tournament TBD

Season games April - June.

Coed Teams

Ages: 4-6 and 6-8
